Drinking chamomile tea helps subdue digestive problems and it’s believed to be powerful when it comes to relaxing the digestive tract which will promote better sleep. Chamomile also relaxes the mind and lessens feelings of stress and its aroma naturally promotes relaxation by calming our emotions.

  •   Mild Anxiety and depression

  •   Facial swelling and pain
  •   Sinus infection
  •   Nausea and more!

Here’s a verse to say to your child while you use the face cloth dipped in the warm chamomile water and gently wipe their face.

This is the moon so big and round.

These are your eyes as bright as the sun.

This is your smile that twinkles like stars.

This is your heart I love, no matter how far.

What you’ll need to gather for a steam inhalation that’s prepared and left on the stove.

  • 1 large pot
  • Water to fill the pot half way
  • A generous handful of dried organic chamomile flowers

Instructions

Fill the pot half way with water (hot or cold)

Set the pot on the stove and bring to a boil

Once boiling, turn the burner to the lowest setting

Add the generous handful of chamomile flowers to the pot

Cover the pot with a lid and let steep for 10 minutes

Remove the lid, and let the steam fill the air and enjoy the benefits while you eat dinner

(Caution: do not remove hot pot from the stove)

Before bedtime, scoop some of the hot chamomile tea water into a bowl. After bath time and when your child’s in bed, use a face cloth dipped in the tea to gently wipe their face as you say the verse. They’ll absolutely love it!

You might consider serving chamomile tea with dinner!
