Chinyelu Kunz is an award-winning author, early childhood parenting expert, and certified Waldorf teacher. She is the author of The Little Book of Parenting: How to Nurture Your Child to Their Full Potential and children’s book Away to Dreamland: Cozy Bedtime Stories, Poems & Rhymes.

Her work centers on helping parents step out of reactive patterns and into steady, intentional leadership. She writes about building strong foundations in family life that support a child’s long-term development and positive parent-child relationship.

With more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Chinyelu brings together developmental research, classroom insight, and lived parenting experience. She was born and raised in Nigeria, and has a masters degree in architecture. She raised her three children with a conscious commitment to breaking generational patterns and creating a different way forward.

Chinyelu shares her writing and ideas with an online community of more than 200,000 people and is the host of the We Nurture Podcast. Her work has been featured on Mindful Mama Podcast, in Juno Magazine and GATEWAYS Newsletter of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America. 

She is the Joint Head of School at Hundred Hills School, where she is helping to bring Waldorf education to families on California’s Central Coast. She lives in Central California with her husband & their rescue dog.
